There are three different basic shooting stances: prone, standing, and kneeling. To shoot accurately in the prone position you must remember to stay perfectly still without using any of your muscles. If you use our muscles to force your body to be still, as soon as you let the shot go you're going to relax and it will throw your shot off. In the standing position you must maintain balance, relax your upper body, and slow down your breathing. While you are standing, and you are holding your rifle, you are bound to get tired. If you feel like the shot is no good and you are just going to be wasting the ammo then you need to put the gun down, wait a second or two, aim again, and go through your shot process. Kneeling as all about relaxation and balance. When you are in position you need to feel like you a snowman melting from the inside. You need to slow down your breathing so your heartbeat will slow down as well. All in all you just need to relax, think about your target, slowly pull the trigger, and have patience when you are shooting.
